I
was born and raised in Southwestern Idaho, where raising horses and cattle
is a way of life. In the early years, I buckarooed with many of the last
remaining "big ranches" in the country.
I have also roped and ridden broncs professionally, adding yet another facet to my experience. It's been quite an education, in that I learned which things worked best for different people, different horses, for different purposes. It also gave me a great appreciation for fine quality horse gear. |
| I began honing my skills as a leather craftsman at the early age of twelve. At the age of twenty, I served an extended apprenticeship with a renowned master. He accepted nothing but the best craftsmanship, a trait that I have embraced wholeheartedly. One of the unwritten codes of the old west says, "The best cowboys ride the best outfits". There are still many cowboys throughout the Great Basin (Southwestern Idaho, Southeastern Oregon, and Northern Nevada) who value nothing more than owning their own high quality, artistic horse gear. To them, my wife Connie and I are truly grateful. | ![]() |
